Shoe Love - Atalanta Weller

I love shoes. They are my downfall and always will be. For years I hid a growing and quite franky, ridiculous collection of heels in my bedroom for fear of actually wearing them out because I am fairly tall, and seemingly live in a town of midgets. I would never wear heels because I was taller than all the boys.

Thankfully along came my lovely boyfriend to save me (and my heels) from hiding, and now I'll proudly walk around in 6 inch heels casually. However, where one problem is solved, another arises (oh optimism!) and now I cannot buy heels fast enough.

I remember the first time I stumbled across Atalanta Weller heels. I had been to see Chase and Status and supporting them was a lesser known artist, Yasmin. I thought she was pretty brilliant at the time and remember style-stalking her for days afterwards. Yasmin was the first person I saw wearing these heels (at the 2011 Brits!) They've also been seen on Sienna Miller, Agyness Deyn and Nicola Roberts. AW's Autumn/Winter collection is as to die for as the previous 4 seasons - a few of my favourites!

Cheryl Cole for stylist♥pick

stylistpick is like a LoveFilm for people who love clothes. At first glance, a pretty good idea, I'm just not sure whether it's preying on the forgetful among us (*cough* me *cough*) Here's how it works:

- You take a speedy little quiz and get a free style profile (with no obligation to buy)
- They email you a new showroom on the 1st of every month with a personalised accessory selection, based on your style profile (as established by the quiz)
- You become a "Stylistpick VIP member" the minute you make your first purchase (everything costs around £40, with certain exceptions) You only pay for the items you buy – if you don't see anything you want, just skip the month (before the 5th) and you don't pay a penny (although if you forget to skip, you can get store credit to spend on any item)
- You can, of course, cancel your sub at any time

Seems like an interesting idea anyway, just not one that's necessarily such a good idea for people like me who find enough new stuff to buy each month without someone hunting for them as well! Maybe a good idea for those of you looking for a style shake-up in 2012?

I was originally drawn to stylistpick because Cheryl Cole has designed a collection of shoes (my downfall). At first I really wanted to hate Cheryl but, aside from her terrible taste in men, she hasn't really put a foot wrong. Anyway, I signed up to stylistpick to have a look at the shoes so you don't have to :)

Absolutely LOVE the Ri Ri boots and, despite the terrible name, the Bord O Freak Le Chic boots (although they look like stilettos with straps, they are actually boots!) are making me at least consider parting with £120. Lass done good!

Christmas Prep

I ♥ Christmas! It feels so near now, all my presents (except my brother's, still requires some work ;)) are under the tree. Just a manic week of work to get out of the way now! Can't wait for a nice chilled time with my family and my boyfriend.

Chuffed that I got some nails. inc varnishes for £5 (£19.99 normally, already a complete bargain!) because the box was slightly damaged at work. It's been so cold lately that my poor Polar Bear microwaveable warmer has been getting some serious use. There's something slightly odd about a warm polar bear...

Whitney Eve Spring 2012

Like a lot of Whitney's fanbase, I first came across her while watching The Hills. I fully realise I watch a huge amount of crap on telly, but I love it! At first I resisted The City but soon I was more addicted to that than any of my other crap viewing. I loved watching Whitney and for once actually supported and admired someone I was watching on a MTV show. I found myself actually liking Whitney's designs, appreciating her premises and ideas and actually considered parting with my 'hard-earned' pounds for her designs.

Never before have I wanted to hand over some £s as much as I do now, after seeing her Spring 2012 collection - some of the pieces are absolutely gorgeous!

Oh dear bank balance, oh dear!
